Our Programs
Food Security and Livelihood Program
Through the Food Security and Livelihood Program, we aim to contribute to the response to the massive and deteriorating food security challenge in Ukraine by providing Ukrainian people with the necessities for a dignified living. Our FSL Program focuses on conflict-affected families who cannot generate enough food and income and lack the means to obtain the bare essentials for a dignified existence.
Our specialist teams give direct food support in the form of cash, vouchers, in-kind donations, and emergency food aid, which we quickly secure to satisfy the requirements of the displaced and deliver food to hard-to-reach areas.
Through this programme, Smilyvist seeks to enhance the lives of families, their food consumption, as well as the living situations of the most disadvantaged populations. We also aim to break the cycle of poverty by securing the resources required to generate income, as well as by providing sustainable livelihoods for current and future generations and improving their wellbeing, including equitable participation and sharing of benefits arising from implemented projects, as well as by focusing on activating the role of agriculture and supporting agricultural production, and by encouraging farmers to preserve and invest their assets in a manner that ensures their long-term sustainability.
