Registration announcement
SMILYVIST, in partnership with GNJP, is thrilled to announce the commencement of registration and benefits for the “Supporting IDPs and Host Communities through Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA)” project in the Dnipro region, Ukraine.
The project aims to provide emergency multi-purpose cash assistance to 944 vulnerable individuals, addressing their basic needs. Focused on conflict-affected areas, including Mykolaivka, Bratske, and Aviatorske, the initiative seeks to offer life-saving support through MPCA for IDP households and the host community.
Beneficiaries eligible for the program will receive a monthly transfer of UAH 3600 per person, with a maximum of UAH 10,800 for a family of 5, lasting for three months. Families exceeding 5 members will receive a fixed amount of UAH 18,000 per month for three months.
The registration period: is 10 days, starting from December 22, 2023 until January 02, 2024.
The targeting and socio-economic vulnerability criteria include:
1- Persons or families who belong to one of the following target groups:
• IDPs as of 24 February 2022.
• Conflict-affected population as of 24 February 2022 in areas close to the active conflict (Dnipro, Poltava, Odessa, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovograd, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumska oblasts);
• Returnees i.e. those who had to move from their regions of origin but eventually returned there.
2- Who meet one or more of the following vulnerability criteria:
• Single headed households with at least 1 child under 18 years of age or older family members (over 55 years of age);
• Elderly headed household (i.e. composed of one or more individuals >55 years old or a person over 55 years of age responsible for at least one child <18 years old);
• Households with one or more persons with specific needs (disability, chronic illness, etc);
• Foster families caring for UASC (documented).
3- Are not enrolled with SMILYVIST and have not received cash assistance from other organizations.
4- Eligible persons of concern should also meet socio-economic criteria earning less than 5,400 UAH per person (family member) per month.

The documents required from the selected beneficiaries:
• tax ID number.
• national passport or other ID documents to get a correct spelling of your name.
• IDP certificate (when available).
• bank card of the focal point (i.e. registration focal person/principal applicant); The bank account must be in local currency (UAH).
• birth certificate of your children.
• legal guardianship or other official custody document that clarify the relationship with the children, when applicable.
• medical report in case of disability or disease that affecting your access to services, when applicable.
Matching and Verification Process:
The organization will conduct on-site visits to individuals who have registered to ascertain their eligibility. Subsequently, the necessary documents will be requested. Once the verification is complete, successful applicants will be notified through text messages sent to their provided contact numbers.
