Our Programs
Child Protection
Smilyvist Child Protection Programme aims to support the prevention and response to violence against children at home, at school, and in the community. We aim to reduce the number of children affected by violence in Ukraine and as the result of the ongoing war there. Through our Child Protection response, we seek to ensure a rapid and coordinated response to the child protection concerns stemming from the current conflict in Ukraine through the following:
- Enhance access to psychosocial first aid and psychosocial support services for women and children affected by the conflict.
- Build the capacity of the staff working with children and families.
- Provide Psychosocial support to children and families.
- Provide awareness-raising sessions for the caregivers.
- Provide child protection specialised services through case management.
- Provide case funds, cash or voucher assistance is planned as a response under the case management modality.
- Link the children in need of non-child protection services with the humanitarian service provider using the referral pathway.
