Shelter and Non-Food Items Program

Our Shelter & NFI programme seeks to provide secure shelter for internally displaced people by providing vulnerable groups and families with healthy living conditions that ensure privacy and dignity. This may consist of camps and temporary or permanent homes. In addition to distributing food, the program also plans to supply seasonal clothing, cooking utensils, shelter kits, and heaters. Distribution of non-food items to those in dire need should be hastened, considering the accuracy of needs assessment findings and the quality of the response.

Support transitional shelter:

  1.  Provision of solid shelter interventions: Assist in returning to the area of origin when conditions are conducive to repairing damaged structures.
  2.  Adequate emergency preparedness: Prepare for emergency response by having the essential supplies and actions on hand.
